Terms and Conditions

English Hurdle reserve the right to make changes to this site and the details displayed on it (including prices) at any time. All measurements are approximate. Due to the nature of willow processing, there will be colour variations throughout the year. The prices for any products shown on our website are inclusive of VAT.

Delivery charges, based on the weight of the goods, will be added on, and are clearly displayed at the checkout. Once your hurdles, climbers, gates, etc. have been made, they are despatched on a three-day service. This simply means that your order will be with you within three days of leaving us. To keep the delivery charges as low as possible, the carrier is unable to specify a day, or time or period. If you require more precise delivery window, please call/email the office for further details. Live willow products, once ready for despatch, are put on a next-day delivery service. You can upgrade to an AM slot for a next-day delivery at a cost of £7.00 + VAT.

Delivery of the products is within 30 days. If we are unable to deliver the goods or perform a service within that deadline (which can be the case particularly with bespoke hurdles or at very busy times), this is stated next to the item or we will contact you to agree a revised date. If this is not converient to you and no suitable alternative can be found, the order will be cancelled.

Prices and delivery charges displayed apply only deliveries to England, Scotland and Wales. If the delivery address is outside of England, Scotland and Wales, we will contact you once you have placed the order with the current delivery/shipping charges. Please call us on 01823 698 418 or email us at info@hurdle.co.uk if you need to know the delivery/shipping charges before you place the order. Similarly, if you wish to pay by cheque, please contact the office (see above contact details). English Hurdle reserves the right not to supply you at our discretion.

Once you have placed the order, you will receive email confirmation of the total order value including delivery and VAT charges from English Hurdle. You will also receive separate confirmation of the payment details from Protx (online card processing). Your credit card will be debited when the goods are ready to be despatched.

Cancelling your order

You can cancel your order for any reason any time before the goods are despatched and up to seven working days after receipt of the goods. You may cancel by phone, fax, email or post. Simply contact us to arrange collection. Cancellations are subject to the following conditions:

1. The goods must be unused, as new, in saleable condition
2. Made-to-measure goods cannot be cancelled or returned unless faulty, or at discretion of English Hurdle
   
3. We we refund the total value of the order including any delivery charges but excluding   collection charges

The above terms and conditions do not affect your right to claim a refund or compensation if the goods you receive are defective or have been misdescribed.
